Champlin, Edward: "The life and times of Calpurnius Piso", in Museum Helveticum, Vol.46 (1989), pp.101-124 argues that C.Piso, the consipirator, C284, is descended from L.Piso, pontifex, C289.

Settipani: Gentilice Addenda p.63-66 on Pisones stemma. According to Alfoldy in CIL VI,8,3 (2000) the funeral monument of Calpurnia L.f.Lepida C330 belongs for stylistic reasons to late 1st century not 2nd century. CIL  proposes Calpurnia Aemilia
to be the daughter of L.Calpurnius Piso Frugi Licinianus, Caesar 69 (C300), and married to Ser. (Cornelius) Salvidienus Orfitus (cos suff 80/87). Settipani moves her down a generation making her the daughter of an
unknown L.Calpurnius (Piso Frugi Licinianus), brother to C.Piso, cos suff 87 (C259) and married to Ser.Cornelius Scipio Salvidienus Orfitus (cos 110). I have kept the original interpretation from PIR here until further clarification.
