Ryan, F.X.: "The Praetorship of Favonius", in The American Journal of Philology, Vol. 115, 1994, p. 595-601 argues that Q. Minucius Thermus RE67 was a tribunicius when governor of Asia and became praetor in 49 when Caesar mentions a "praetor" Thermus.
Ryan, F.X.: "Two Senators in 73 B.C.", in ZPE Bd. 108 (1995), p.307-308 - on Q. Minucius Thermus RE67, Ryan argues that the early career of RE67 (q 75/74, senator 73) belongs to RE60. RE67 tr pl 62 was thus probably q c.64
and his praetorship he dates to 49 (not 58 or 53), cf. article on Favonius above.
Shackleton Bailey: "Two Studies" (1976), p.53-55 (L. Minucius Basilus RE37, M. Basilus RE39 and A. Thermus RE61, who he suggests should be Q. Thermus RE67, since praenomen Aulus was not used by the Minucii), . p.121-122 (C. Marcius Figulus cos 64
he finds identification with Minucius Thermus RE60 plausible, and suggests his name after adoption was C. Marcius Figulus Thermus), p.122 (L. Minucius Basilus RE38, who he does not believe is the same man as Caesar's assassin)
Sumner, G.V.: "The Lex Annalis under Caesar (Continued)" in Phoenix, Vol. 25, 1971, p. 359 on L. Minucius Basilus RE38 career; thinks he might first have been quaestor in 50.

Wiseman: New Men (1971) p.241-242 (§257 L. Minucius Basilus RE37,§258 M. Minucius Basilus RE39) with stemma. L. Minucius L.f. trib. Velina in consilium 89 seems too young and may be the son of the rich eques,
who later adopted his nephew Satrius, probably because his own son was deceased.
Wiseman, T.P: "The Minucii and their Monument, in L. Lindersky (ed) "Imperium Sine fine", Historia Einzelschriften 105, Stuttgart, 1996, p.57-74 on the ancient Minucii and the porta Minucia.
